Scales of Ma'at Sweatshirt, Grey

A marl grey crew neck sweatshirt with raglan sleeve seams and ribbed cuffs and hem. The artwork sits large and centred across the chest: a golden balance scale, beam and pedestal rendered in worn gold, with fine chains carrying two shallow pans. A single feather lies in the left pan. In the right pan stands a tall vessel holding a small red heart.

This is the weighing of the heart against the feather of Ma'at, the ancient Egyptian measure of truth, balance, order and justice. A heart found as light as the feather belonged to a life lived with honour.
